It costs a fortune to live in Oceanview. Its in the middle of nowhere. The meth community is large. The grocery stores are twice the cost of those in Kailua or Hilo. Ive lived in Hawaii for 50 years. In OV for 15. I worked in Honoka’a and Naalehu while in Hawaii County Fire Dept. Its way more expensive than this video says. Its very hard to live on $2000 anywhere on the Big Island. Hmm I don’t know about other islands, but Big Island, where I live; I would not live in any of the places mentioned. I have visited all the areas mentioned but the disadvantages of living there far out way the advantages. I live upper Puna near Volcano Village.
